Eligibility

To enroll in our course, you must have:

  • Hold a certificate IV or higher qualification in accountancy or bookkeeping from an Australian institution.

  • Have a strong interest in the BAS system.

EXPERIENCE requirements

To be a BAS Agent, alongside academic qualifications, relevant experience is paramount:

  • With tertiary qualifications in accounting: Accumulate 1,400 hours of relevant experience in the past four years.

  • If you're a member of a professional association: Accumulate 1,000 hours of relevant experience in the past four years.

  • Sign off by a BAS Agent: Once you have completed you required experience, we sign off your BAS agent licence with the Tax Practitioners Board.

  1. BAS Fundamentals: Dive deep into GST, PAYG, FBT, superannuation, and more, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of essential BAS aspects.
